MG Chemicals Rubber Keypad Repair Kit permanently repairs worn contacts on rubber keypads.
Applications & Usages
Effectively repairs worn contacts on rubber keypads in remote controls such as; TV remotes, DVD players, stereos, home security, parking access, garage door opener, keyboards, game remotes, and much more.
The kit comes with a cyanoacrylate glue, primer pen, graphite conductive pen and applicator swabs.
Application Instructions. Follow the procedure below for best results:
1) Apply the Poly Prep Primer directly onto contact surface to be repaired. To dispense, gently squeeze pen barrel and depress tip lightly on contact. Allow primer to fully evaporate.
2) Dispense Super Glue onto a swab and apply a thin coat over the contact. Allow glue to fully dry (1-2 minutes).
3) Shake the Graphite Pen vigorously. Gently squeeze pen barrel and depress tip lightly onto a smooth surface to dispense a small amount (DO NOT apply directly to contact).
4) Using an applicator swab, saturate the tip with the dispensed coating.
5) Apply a very thin coat of graphite coating over the contact to be repaired.
6) Let contact dry for at least 24 hours before use.
