Engineered specifically to address the unique biomechanics of women, they are also suitable for anyone with a narrower gait seeking an ultralight option with maximum maneuverability and agility, without sacrificing security and stability. A low-profile 360-degree traction frame offers edge-to-edge grip, and steel Durable Traction crampons, with two fang-like teeth, provide serious bite on traverses and steep slopes. The PosiLock All-Terrain bindings create a secure, freeze-resistant attachment that is compatible with all types of footwear. Rugged, yet lightweight polyurethane decking offers superior floatation and long-term durability. When the going gets tough, easy-to-engage Ergo Televator heel lifts offer help on the steeps, reducing fatigue. The MSR Lightning Ascent Womenâ€™s Snowshoes are compatible with MSR Modular Floatation Tails (sold separately), for extra floatation when carrying heavier loads, or encountering varied terrain and changing snow conditions.
