- Recommended Usage Percentage: Typically used at 0.1%–1% depending on the required thickness. Lower amounts give light fluid gels, while higher levels create thicker, more structured textures.
- How to Use in DIY Formulations: Disperse Xanthan Gum into glycerin or a small amount of oil first to prevent clumping. Then add slowly to the water phase with continuous mixing until fully hydrated. Works in both hot and cold-process formulations.
