NOT for older plastic models, macOS OS X 10.10 is compatible with Unibody Aluminum Models only.

Older computer models are not compatible and won't work. For example, 2006-2008 Plastic or non-unibody Core2Duo Macbook won't work, as they have older incompatible graphics hardware and do not meet the minimum requirement for installation of MacOS 10.10.

Just check the year number printed on the back / bottom of your computer.

For unibody Aluminum models, Not for older plastic models.

This won't load on Mac computer with EFI firmware lock - If computer shows a lock pad on screen when restart and hold "Option" Key, that is EFI firmware lock and its motherboard must be fixed first before any OS X installation can take place.
