The drawings in this book are inspired from beautiful mandalas found in many different religious and cultural traditions. The meaning of mandala comes from Sanskrit meaning "circleâ€. Mandalas offer balancing visual elements, symbolizing unity and harmony. To create a concentric theme I selected a center point then built them out with radial lines and small shapes to make this book â€œMandala Adventure 2â€. A different approach was used compared to other mandala coloring books. Each design covers the whole page to give a new feel (symmetrical designs with an asymmetrical placements on the page) and offers up the whole page for coloring, instead of just a circle centered on every page.
