The Avid Fly Reel is machined from solid, bar stock aluminum to precise specifications. The reel is
lightweight, strong, and meticulously designed for flawless performance. The Teflon disc and
stainless steel drag system provide smooth, immediate drag engagement. This reel is fully
functional, perfect for all types of and environments for fly fishing. Works well for trout, grayling,
salmon, and other predatory fish.
This reel comes in three sizes:
-1/3 weight: 3.8 oz, 2.67" diameter, recommended WF2F + 40 yard 20 lb backing line
-3/4 weight: 4.0 oz, 2.90" diameter, recommended WF3F + 60 yard 20 lb backing line
-5/6 weight: 4.6 oz, 3.38" diameter, recommended WF6F + 60 yard 20 lb backing line
-7/8 weight: 5.7 oz, 3.70" diameter, recommended WF7F + 90 yard 20 lb backing line
-9/10 weight: 6.07 oz, 3.70" diameter, recommended WF9F + 110 yard 30 lb backing line
