  WHAT IT IS:
  Salicylic acid is a BHA that exfoliates skin and can improve oil production. It also helps with acne and acne scarring and fine lines and wrinkles.

  
  

  WHAT IT IS FORMULATED TO DO:
  Salicylic acid works by softening keratin, a protein that forms part of the skin structure. This helps to loosen dry scaly skin making it easier to remove. Salicylic acid will help to control sebum and keep oil production at a minimum which helps to address acne.

  
  

  FOR BEST RESULTS:
  Before Your Peel
  For best results, prep the skin for a week prior to peel application with the We strongly recommend conducting a patch test 3 days before applying a peel to ensure no negative or unusual reactions occur.

  
  

  After Your Peel
  Generously apply Daily Collagen Complex, or as needed for tight, dry skin. Use a minimum of broad spectrum SPF 30 every day to protect healing skin. Begin using a daily exfoliator in between

DOWNTIME:
Mild/Moderate - The 20% Salicylic peel has mild to moderate downtime. Typically you will see some light to medium peeling and some areas of the skin may frost ( turning a white/offwhite color ) during application. It is common for frosted areas to darken before peeling off. The peeling typically starts on day 4 or 5. You can resume to normal exfoliation after one week.
