- Brilliant top — Byzance Brilliant cymbals are fully lathed for a classic sound before the surface is buffed to a brilliant shine — this finish tones down high frequencies for a wash that sits underneath your mix when compared to traditional finish
- Dark bottom — the bottom cymbal is completely unlathed to give you a heavier feel that is loaded with clarity, cut and a dose of intricate, dark tone — each cymbal is stamped with small holes to allow air to escape for a faster response
