- Internal Lug tuning system: tuning lugs on the inside of the shell allow players to easily change the sound and tension of the drum
- Deep hardwood shell: The shell of the Mizar is deeper than most traditional hand drums, allowing it to create lower bass notes and overall longer sustain; measures 18" X 4"
- Hand selected goat head: This hand drum is equipped with a goat skin head that provides a pleasant resonance at both high and low frequency
- Thumb hole grip: the lightweight build of the frame along with a thumb hole grip makes this Mizar drum comfortable and easy to play
- Add cultural sounds: the unique timbre of the Mizar drum is designed for traditional middle Eastern styles but it may be used in contemporary music to add unexpected flavors
