  • Chamchuri stave shells (natural finish, gloss) — solid chamchuri staves are assembled based on uniform qualities like color and grain for a consistent sound — precise proportions allow the drums to complement each other with separate pitches
  • Remo Fiberskyn Heads — these bongos come equipped with Remo Fiberskyn heads that deliver increased volume and resonance while featuring a striking appearance — the heads measure 7” and 8 ½”
  • Rounded rims (brushed nickel plated steel) — 3 mm Meinl SSR rounded rims sit lower than traditional bongo rims and feature a rounded edge for comfort and control — this design helps avoid harsh or unwanted contact with the rim as you play with your hands
  • Meinl Free Ride Suspension System — the two individual drums are attached with the Meinl Free Ride Suspension system, a patented design that avoids holes being drilled into the shells — this allows for greater resonance and works with any bongo stand
