- Adjustable steel cajon strings for snare effect — spanning against the inside of the playing surface are micro-coiled steel cajon strings that deliver a crisp snare sound — string tension is adjustable for tight or loose snare sounds (hex wrench included)
- Hardwood/MDF, full size — the hardwood playing surface along with sturdy MDF body dishes out cutting slap tones, deep bass and responds to soft finger rolls and brush playing — this full size cajon measures 11 ¾” W x 12” D x 18” H
- Rear port for enhanced tone and microphone placement — a sound port is cut into the back of the cajon to allow air to escape as you play, which results in enhanced tone and feel — this is an ideal spot to place a microphone when amplification is needed
These rubber wood Cajon feature an internal system of strings that span from the top to the bottom of the playing surface to deliver a sensitive rattle that acts as a snare effect.
