- HAND-WOVEN: this caxixi (also called a basket shaker) is hand-woven with all natural rattan
- WHY IT MATTERS: this material provides a soft sound texture with a mellow, earthy timbre; plus, it has a unique look, and each one will be slightly different due to the hand made design
- LOOKING UNDERNEATH: on bottom is a natural dried coconut shell cap; use this area to play accent notes to mix up your shaker patterns
- WHERE TO USE: drum set, percussion, live or studio work; also great for drum circles, shaman healing journeys, meditation, sound baths, yoga, musical gatherings, or for achieving relaxing trance states
- OF NOTE: the handle is designed for structure and appearance, but it may be used for some playing motions (like straight up and down); it's important to know this handle is not made for regular use as a grip
