If your system only needs a single connection, buy a NON-AIRGAP FAUCET (item B01M1LD1RM) instead. This faucet includes a 7/16" permeate inlet, 1/4” OD brine input, and 3/8” OD brine output. With the included quick-connect couplings, installation is quick and easy. Ideal for replacing existing airgap faucets with standard 1/4” OD and 3/8” OD drain lines.

  • Prevents Overflow from High-Flow RO Systems – Designed for reverse osmosis systems with a drain flow rate of up to 40 oz/min (0.3125 GPM). If your RO system exceeds this limit—such as high-GPD membranes, booster pump setups, or tankless RO systems—excess drain water may overflow from the air gap or faucet handle. For proper operation, ensure your RO system drain flow does not exceed the maximum supported flow rate.
  • Ensure an Unobstructed Drain Connection – A clogged black drain outlet or blocked sink drain connection can restrict wastewater flow, causing water to discharge from the air-gap opening or faucet handle. For reliable performance, keep the black drain line and sink drain connection free of debris and obstructions.
  • Correct Drain Line Installation Required – For proper operation, the RED drain line (inlet) must connect to the RO system drain, and the BLACK drain line (outlet) must connect to the sink waste drain. Reversing these connections will disrupt drain flow and may cause water to discharge from the air-gap opening or faucet handle.
