The Micover Slipover Series for Sony is made of high-quality synthetic fur. Your microphone, with its original black foam cover, provides between 5dB and 10dB of noise reduction. The Micover Slipovers reduce unwanted noise by an additional 10dB without diminishing the quality of your recording. This Slipover is designed to slide over your original black foam windscreen included with the microphone. It will not fit properly without the foam piece. We do make another product called Puffin if you lost the foam. Sony makes a few small shotgun microphones they sometimes include with their cameras. The Sony ECM-NV1 and ECM-XM1 are typically included and come with a standard black foam piece (which you will need.)
