This version on Mocal's engine oil sandwich plate is made specifically for new 2.0-liter Subaru-powered (FA20) cars: Scion FR-S, Subaru BRZ and Toyota 86. Due to their high-revving nature, oil temperatures in FA20-powered cars can reach levels that cause the engine management to reduce performance. This sandwich plate kit is the product of months of collaboration with tuners and race teams who know the needs of these cars for proper oil cooling. This makes oil cooler installations virtually plug-and-play. This sandwich plate attaches simply between the engine block and standard oil filter. A built-in 185Â° thermostat accurately controls oil flow to the cooler allowing for quick engine warm-up and oil system protection in cold climates.
