Monster Mash / Scary Tales

Two Parkway albums released in 1962 and 1963 respectively. Zacherle is the king of Halloween novelty records and appears on both of Ace's Halloween compilations ("These Ghoulish Things" and "Mostly Ghostly"). Monster Mash' was recorded to cash in on the 1962 success of Bobby "Boris" Pickett's single and includes ghoulish re-makes of current hits like 'Hully Gully Baby' which became 'Hurry Bury Baby (got to hide the body!') for this album.
