- Candle Care Instructions: Make sure to always trim your wick to 1/4" before you light your candle to avoid any soot and an oversized flame. Burning the candle for 4 hours is the maximum recommended time to light the candle, and make sure you don’t light it when there is less than ½” of wax left. If you don’t you might see wax tunneling burn the candle so the wax pool reaches the edge of the tin each time. Do not ever leave a burning candle unattended.
