• Traditional 7-Ply Construction. The most common skateboard construction consists of seven layers of maple wood veneer, which are pressed and glued together with strong adhesive. Maple is a dense hard wood that provides excellent strength and pop, making it the tried and true standard for decades.

• Moose decks come in a variety of sizes from 7.25” to 9.0”. There are no hard rules on what size skateboard should be ridden. We recommend a small size deck (7.25”) for people with shoe size 6 and under. Full size skateboards (7.5” – 9.0”) are recommended for skaters 13 and older. The most common size boards right now are 8.0” or 8.25”.
