- Slow Release Water Automatically: The terracotta watering spikes will release water automatically. Thinner the spikes, faster the draining speed.
- The plant watering devices is made from terracotta clay. The clay stake is porous. When you put the bottle full of water in the stake, it takes a little while for the water to soak through the porous clay. If the dirt around the stake is dry, the water automatically wicks from the clay into the dirt, and the water keeps wicking out into the dirt until the dirt is saturated with water, or until the bottle is empty.
- Easy to Use with Long Neck Wine or Plastic Bottle. Firstly, dig a hole in the soil. Secondly, insert the watering stakes into the soil gently. Fill the bottle or wine bottle with water, connect the bottle with stakes and turn upside down.
- The package includes 6 watering stakes. You could choose used wine bottle or long neck plastic bottle to be compatible with the stakes. The watering spikes are perfect tool for you to recycle the used bottle as well as free up labor.
- Slow Release Watering Stakes for Vacation Use. There is no standard releasing time for the spikes. Usually 1 Litre of water could water about 7-10 days. It is designed to prevent overwatering and guarantee the watering when people go out for vacation.

Notes for Using the Vacation Plant Waterer
The stakes is made from terracotta which is a little fragile due to its composition. It is quite possible that you receive the broken spikes. Please understand the fact and do not get angry about that. Please contact our after sale center for the refund or replacement.
Test the releasing speed before you go out for trip or vacation. The releasing speed and the water need depends on the plant need, pot size and weather condition. Please test the releasing speed of the waterer before you go out to protect your plants life. Insert 7/8 part of the stakes into the soil to ensure better releasing effect. More stakes in the soil, more water is absorbed by the soil. For large pots, you may need more than one stakes to water the plants.
Make sure the maximum amount of the watering spike is touching soil. It not only let the water get to more of the root system, but also could support heavy bottle with water and will not result in the bottle broken issue.
Dig a hole in the soil and the put the stake into soil! When you put the bottle into the stake, be reasonably gentle. If you slam the bottle in hard, or push it in, you can break the stake. Just gently rest the bottle in the stake. Especially for heavy bottle, you need to insert almost the whole stakes into the soil so that the stake will not topple and fall.
