Make and enjoy instantly, store in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks, or store in the freezer for up to 1 year. Jams are not just for toast! Use your fresh homemade jam as a glaze for pork, ham, chicken, or beef. For best result use tender fruit that is easily crushed. Some of our favorites are apricots, berries blackberry, boysenberry, loganberry, strawberry, blueberry, etc.), cherries, plumbs, peaches, and pears. Try mixing multiple fruits together as well for a unique flavor. Each pack yields 5 Â½ pints of jam. All you need to get started are 4 cups of your favorite crushed fruit (Fresh or frozen fruit both work. Allow frozen fruit to thaw in refrigerator before crushing), 1 Â½ cups sugar (Substitute with Splenda No Calorie Sweetener (Granular)), and 1 packet Mrs. Wages No Cook Freezer Jam Fruit Pectin. Directions: 1. In a large mixing bowl, stir 4 cups crushed peeled peaches, 1 Â½ cups sugar (or Splenda) and 3 tbsp. lemon juice until well blended. Let stand for 10 minutes. For thicker jam, bring crushed peaches to a boil before mixing with other ingredients. 2. Gradually stir contents of Mrs. Wages Freezer Jam Fruit Pectin into the peach mixture. Stir 3 minutes longer. Ladle and store as directed on package.
