- Recommended Usage Percentage: Typically used at 0.5%–2% depending on the desired viscosity. Lower levels create lightweight gels; higher levels build thicker, more structured formulas.
- How to Use in DIY Formulations: Disperse HEC Powder into room-temperature water while stirring to avoid clumping. Allow time for full hydration. Can be used in both cold-process and heated formulations. Add early in the water phase for best results.
- Ideal for a Wide Range of Applications: Suitable for face gels, serums, shampoos, body washes, lotions, emulsions, conditioners, and styling gels. Compatible with most surfactants and water-based ingredients.
