Scarf Washing Tips:
1. Acrylic scarf Wash separately in cold water on delicate cycle using mild detergent. Do not bleach. Hang dry.
2. Chiffon scarf Hand wash separately in cold water using mild detergent, do not scrub. Do not bleach. Hang dry.
3. Cotton scarf Hand wash separately in cold water using mild detergent. Do not use hot water or bleach. Dry flat.
4. Polyester scarf Dry cleaning is strongly recommended. If washing by hand, wash separately using only cold water.
This fabric is very sensitive to heat. Avoid warm water or soaking. Do not use bleach. Hang dry.
5. Wool scarf Dry cleaning is strongly recommended. If washing by hand, soak for three minutes in adequate amount of water prior to washing.
Use a mild detergent formulated for wool. Do not rub or scrub, do not bleach. Gently wring after washing, hang dry. Do not dry in dryer.
6. Silk scarf Hand wash in lukewarm water using mild detergent. Water should not be too warm in order to avoid fading, yellowing or discoloration.
Scarves may be soaked for several minutes in lukewarm water with a bit of vinegar added to brighten colors.Dry flat. Do not bleach, do not dry in sun.
