A particular novelty is the newly developed 6 x 2.5 "mounting frame for space-saving installation of up to six HDD / SSD. The Deep Silence 6 is in the Rev. B again equipped with two soundproof doors: Behind the upper cover the user will find four 5.25 inch bays, a 2-channel fan control (with sliders), as well as the reset-button. Behind the second door, two low-noise 140 mm fans are mounted. Magnets integrated in the doors ensure a fast closing and easy opening. The I/O-panel can be found in the top cover of the case. As many as 4 x USB 3.0, 2 x USB 2.0, Mic, and Audio connectors are available. A practical sliding lid makes it possible to hide the connectors when they are not needed. The top cover also holds the unique â‚¬Å“Active Air Chimneyâ‚¬Â for effective, active case ventilation. The Chimney is easily retractable.
