This professional spoon carving gouge is made by a highly respected cutting tool manufacturer in the Czech Republic and is of exceptional quality. This is a 20 mm or 3/4 inch wide spoon carving gouge. Blade is made from chrome-silicon alloy steel and heat treated for hardness of 59 HRc. The edges are sharpened and lapped but will need final honing before use. Handle is made from stained and waxed European beach wood. Blades is 3 ½ inches long, Handles is 5 ½ inches long. Overall length is 9 inches. This chisel is an excellent value for a professional quality tools and will make the perfect addition to an existing set.
