Natural Crushed Dark Chrysocolla for Stone Inlay, Medium, 1/2 Ounce

This particular chrysocolla is from the Sonoran Region of Mexico, which is known for its dark blue-green specimens. This stone is sold in 1/2 ounce units and is great for jewelry embellishments and/or woodworking inlay. This material is considered to be medium to fine, ranging between 2 millimeters to 0.25 millimeters (between sieve #10 - #60). This product is NOT man-made, mixed with resin, or stabilized. Please be careful when buying crushed minerals since most products have a caveat in fine writing that states that this stone might be man-made, mixed with resin, or is made from a composite (generally, plain stone mixed with a dyed resin to make the product seem authentic and is allowed to be called natural). Stone authenticity is extremely important to all artisans; therefore, we strive to validate the source of all our minerals before they are processed and sieved. As with any naturally occurring minerals, there can be some matrix or host rock mixed in with the product.
