This innovative machine produces freshly brewed coffee and traditional espresso with a rich, generous crema. There is no need to change settings - the one-touch brew feature lets you create exceptional freshly-brewed coffee or authentic espresso at the touch of a button. The unit delivers delicious coffee quickly, using coffee capsules -- instead of grounds or beans -- to make beverages that are as smooth and perfect as the ones you would buy at your favourite coffee shop. There are two capsule sizes: a large one for coffee and a small one for espresso. Capsule recognition and code reading technology enable blend-specific parametric brewing: all in one button. The coffees produced are characterized by rich, generous foam called crema - naturally formed during the brewing process, thanks to Centrifusion technology. The unique centrifuge action ensures you get every drop of flavour from each capsule. Just insert a capsule and close the lever -- when activated, the capsule spins at 7,000 rotations per minute, blending ground coffee with hot water and producing the perfect crema to complement your favourite coffee or espresso. The unit also features fast heat-up (15 - 20 seconds depending on water temperature) and an adjustable drip tray that easily accommodates coffee cups and glasses. The energy-efficient unit automatically shuts off 9 minutes after the last coffee. The unit comes with the Aeroccino Plus milk frother.
