New Orleans Brass Bands: Through the STR

For more than a century, the signature sound of New Orleans has been the brass band known as “second line,” a source of celebration, collective expression, and community pride. New Orleans Brass Bands brings us three musical generations of renowned second liners—the classic sound of the Liberty Brass Band, the tradition-dening Treme Band, and the younger funk musicians of the Hot 8 Brass Band.
