- Self-centering split point provides excellent drilling accuracy and precision
- Heat treated to 2185° F and then nitro carburized at 950° F to be measurably harder than high speed steel

By matching the tap with the appropriate drill bit, Norseman has cut out the guess work. Now you do not need a drill chart, and you won't need to worry if you have the right drill or tap on hand. Black oxide treatment adds lubricity and creates small pockets on the surface of the bits that act to hold coolant near the cutting edge. Gold oxide treatment adds lubricity for ultimate cutting and bit performance. Drill bits have round, smooth shanks. Stored in a durable, metal case that protects the bits from damage when stored.
