Sharpeners and Knifemakers both love the Norton Blaze belts because they LAST. They are made with a ceramic abrasive grain that lasts 50% to 200% longer than standard aluminum oxide belts. They cut faster, last longer, and provide better metal integrity by cutting cooler. The grains are coated with a lubricant, so less heat is created during grinding. For even cooler grinding, the belts have a Y-wt polyester waterproof cloth backing. So that means you can get them wet without damaging them!
