Novagard G635 Dielectric Silicone Grease Compound, 5.3 oz Tube

The Novagard G635 is a 5.3 oz. tube of dielectric silicone grease compound that provides moisture resistance, good corrosion resistance, and electrical insulation for lubricating high voltage insulators, connectors, disconnect junctures, automobile and aircraft ignition systems, and other electronic equipment. The grease is an amorphous fumed, silica-thickened, methyl-diphenyl polysiloxane-based compound. It has a temperature range of -60 to +392 degrees F (-51 to +200 degrees C). Dielectric strength is 600 volts per mil for a 10-mil gap. The compound has a translucent paste consistency.

Although many materials are used as lubricants, the most common are oil (also called fluid lubricants) and grease because of their versatility.
