OTC 6474 Camshaft Alignment Tool for Select 1994-2014 4-Cyl. Ford, Mercury, and Lincoln Vehicles
- OTC's Ford Cam Pulley Holding Tool is a 'must have' for ensuring both cams stay in sync when belt is disconnected for replacement or other procedures which require belt removal
- Simply rotate the engine to top-dead-center and slide the precisely sized tool across the lip of the cylinder head into the slots on the back ends of the camshafts to ensure cam alignment
- Note: The camshaft timing slots are offset - if the camshaft alignment timing tool cannot be installed, rotate the crankshaft one complete revolution clockwise to correctly position the camshafts
- Tool is designed for use on many Ford, Mercury, and Lincoln vehicles equipped with 2.0L, 2.3L, 2.5L 4-cylinder engines - see product description below for a complete list
- Same as Ford No. 303-398 (T92C-6256-AH); includes complete instructions for use of tool
The OTC 6474, cam tools ensure correct cam timing when servicing timing belts chains head gaskets or other valve train repairs. Application: 1994 - 2002 Ford Contour/Mercury Mystique w/ 2.0L 4 cyl. DOHC Zetec Engine. Same as Ford No. 303-465 (T94P-6256-CH).
