Views of deep space delicacies can be displayed with any device equipped with RCA composite video inputs, such as a TV or projector. This second generation Deep Space Video Camera features a serial input interface which allows use with a growing number of optional accessories, which can help optimize efficiency of the camera. It's compatible with both Apple and Windows computers for enhanced versatility. The SSDSVC II is built around the sensitive Mintron 72S85HN-EX-R color sensor which is capable of providing pleasing real-time views of the 110 Messier objects, as well as many other bright galaxies, star clusters and nebulas. The astronomical video camera also performs admirably when trained on objects such as the Moon and planets within our solar system. The included Orion Video Capture Device easily attaches to your video camera, camcorder, DVD player, DVR, VCR, or any device equipped with RCA composite, component, or S-Video output, and makes it possible for you to view, record and capture footage from those devices for viewing on your laptop or desktop Apple computer.
