Description

  • BEST SELLING - One of Japan's BEST Selling Music Gift. Deluxe Version is a full-sized, professional musician grade Otamatone. Its jumbo size, compatibility with speakers and amplifiers (via 3.5mm stereo jack), and wider neck for more precise playing make it the ideal Otamatone for musicians looking for a fun, silly new instrument to master.
  • FUN & EASY TO PLAY - Simply press and slide fingers up and down the touch-sensitive stem to play different notes. You can also squeeze the Otamatone's "face" to create a "Wah" effect and shake the stem to add Vibrato. While anyone can enjoy the Otamatone deluxe, musicians in particular will enjoy this Otamatone’s larger and more responsive fretboard and greater number of notes – each pitch setting (low, medium, and high) containing roughly four octaves of notes making a wide variety of songs.
  • COOL GIFT IDEA - A quirky and weird musical instrument, the Otamatone is perfect for beginners and experienced musicians alike. Its unique shape and sound make it a cute, silly, and fun gift.
  • TURN IT UP - Connect to headphones, amps, and speakers with the 3.5 mm stereo jack.
  • PACKAGE INCLUDES: 1 x Otamatone Deluxe, 1 x 3.5mm Aux Cable, 3 x AA Batteries, 1 x English Language instruction manual, plus a Otamatone strap!
Created by Japan's CUBE Toy company and designed by the artists brothers Masamichi and Nobumichi Tosa of the Maywa Denki design firm, the Otamatone boasts one of the most unusual (yet adorable!) designs for a musical instrument to date. Inspired by the mysterious, uninhibited, and often unpredictable nature of the voice as an instrument, the Tosa brothers created the Otamatone, one of several other pieces in their collection of "Nonsense Machines" made to celebrate and explore all the quirks and "magicness" of the human voice. Joining a machine that reproduces laughter, one that barks like a dog, and other silly, whimsical, yet functional and inherently fascinating contraptions, the Otamatone is a fun, silly exploration of sound and music making.

Now an award-winning toy loved by kids, teens, and adults both in Japan and abroad, this lovable smiling eighth-note features all the cute, crazy, and ingeniously creative appeal you'd expect from a hit Japanese toy, yet combines it with surprisingly sophisticated functionality reminiscent of a violin or the rather more obscure theremin to make a toy people everywhere just can't put down!

The Otamatone Deluxe is an upgraded version of the original Otamatone, featuring a larger size, a more responsive stem for easier playing, both pitch and volume control, and a 3.5mm jack for headphones and speakers. It also comes with an exclusive Otamatone strap, making it the Otamatone of choice for the aspiring virtuoso!
