It is fair to say that no other fragrances are more interesting and challenging to the master perfumer than Oud. Our Oud is based on sustainable produced Agarwood Essential Oil. This pure oil has the deep, woody, smoky, and incense aroma that has mesmerized Asian people for centuries.

Whereas the religious incense and sacred oil nature of Oud Essential Oil is at the very center of its nature, a master perfumer would want to downplay some of these notes and preserve others. The many approaches used to create Oud aromas have resulted in more than 800 Oud fragrances being marketed today. These fragrances range from floral to woody and to vanilla, and each has its unique notes, to the point that it’s difficult to realize that they are connected. In all cases, however, it is Oud that adds depth and intensity, bringing a fragrance to life like no other aromatic ingredient.

For our version of Oud our master perfumer has gone in the direction of complementing Oud with aromatic wood oils and a touch of floral extracts that bring faint sweet notes to the Oud base. It is, of course, our favorite version of Oud!
