Oxi-X Oxidation Barrier Coating 32 Oz Bottle

OxiX is a water based protective coating that functions as a stand alone sealer, oxidation blocker, and/or pre-paint primer. This ZERO-VOC, ZERO-CFC, non-toxic coating dries clear and was specifically developed to block the effects of oxidation from aluminum and fiberglass surfaces such as pontoons, horse trailers, RV's and boat hulls. Our exclusive new bonding agent provides extended oxidation protection in the harshest environments. Keep your pontoons and trailers bright by using Aluminox to brighten the dulled aluminum followed by OxiX for ultimate protection. OxiX is safe, fast, easy to use and environmentally friendly. For coating aluminum and fiberglass: Clean surface thoroughly with a neutral or above neutral water based cleaner (VPW SC-1000) to remove dirt, oil and any wax or other protective coatings before applying. Do not use solvents or butlyl based cleaners as they can interfere with the adhesion process. For non-polished aluminum, treat the surface as described above or with Aluminox Aluminum Brightener before coating. Apply OxiX to the surface as thinly as possible with a dampened streak-free microfiber cloth in circular motions or a quality paint/coating sprayer. The final appearance of OxiX on the surface may vary with the application method. 2 to 3 applications are recommended. Allow product to dry (Minimum 30 min. @ 70°F) before each application. NOTE: If your boat is docked in the water full time, it may be better to use a good wax as long-term submersion does affect the coating.
