TECHNICAL PERFORMANCE: A high-end ice axe designed for classic to technical mountaineering; the hydroformed handle offers excellent grip and control on steep terrain.
HYDROFORMED SHAFT: The 7075 aluminum shaft is shaped using high-pressure water to create an ergonomic curve that fits perfectly in the hand, improving comfort and reducing fatigue.
RUBBERIZED GRIP: The lower handle area features a technical rubber over-mold that provides superior friction and thermal insulation compared to standard aluminum shafts.
HOT-FORGED HEAD: Features a high-quality steel pick (3mm tip) and adze; the pick is toothed for secure anchoring in ice, while the adze is optimized for step cutting.
OPTIMIZED CURVE: The specific curve of the shaft provides the necessary clearance for climbing steep ice or couloirs while still allowing for efficient use as a piolet-canne (cane mode).
