Papel Chicano: Works on Paper from the Collection of Cheech Marin

Bold and intense imagery rich in color has long been a trademark of art expressing the Chicano experience. Drawn from the collection of Cheech Marin, Papel Chicano includes about 40 works on paper primarily pastels, but also drawings, mixed media, oil, acrylic and gouaches from nearly 20 artists. Represented are Gaspar Enriquez, Margaret Garcia, Raul Guerrero, Roberto Gutierrez, Wayne Alaniz Healy, Adan Hernandez, Leo Limon, Jose Lozano, Jesus Chuy c/s Rangel, Cesar Martinez, Alex Rubio, Frank Romero, Eloy Torrez, John Valadez, Patssi Valdez, Vincent Valdez, and George Yepes.
