The maintenance kit for the paper wheels has everything you need to re-grit, lubricate, and load your polishing wheel. The grit is in a re-sealable container to stay dry. The bee's wax lubricates the gritted sharpening wheel and keeps your edges from overheating. The buffing compound is for your slotted polishing wheel.
