This was the second album that Hammill recorded with his then touring band, the K group, in 1982/3. Electric guitar predominates here in a direct and uncompromising fashion. At the core of things, though, is a very strong collection of songs. Several of these have become staple subjects for live performance in almost every line-up with which I've played since.
