Dukas was known to destroy his own manuscripts in fits of despair with his own creative abilities, but selections from his surviving compositions are included in this wide ranging collection featuring the notable Flemish Radio Choir with the Brussels Philharmonic conducted by Herve Niquet. Included in this handsome limited edition 2 CD set is a 124 page book that features Dukas autobiography along with critical writings and librettos for the choir and cantata pieces.
