How to Install Your Filter:
*Tip: It is normal for a small amount of water to drip when replacing your filter. Have a dish towel handy when changing your filter.
1. Remove the old filter from your refrigerator by turning it gently counterclockwise until it releases from the filter head. Discard the old filter.
2. Line up the new cartridge so the ears can be inserted into the filter head.
3. Rotate the cartridge into the head. Twist the cartridge ¼ turn clockwise until it locks into place.
4. Run water continuously through the water filter for 3 gallons until the water runs steadily and the sputtering stops.
5. Reset water filter change notification by following the instructions in your owner's manual.

*Tip: On almost all refrigerators, your reminder light is simply a 6 month timer, it doesn't measure water volume or tell you if your filter is clogged. Your filter may last for more or less time depending on your local water quality and how much water you use. If your water flow is reduced, or it begins to taste like tap water, you know it is time to change your filter
