The unit has an integrated mic and speaker with powerful pickup and strong speaker volume to provide a large range of coverage. The Duet Executive also has advanced echo cancellation and noise suppression for clear communication that's free of noise and feedback. Despite its powerful features, the Duet Executive offers simple plug-and-play connectivity with a USB connection for compatibility with PC and Mac computers. The unit can draw its power from your computer's USB port, or from the included power supply cable. The power cable has different clips for international use. In addition to VoIP conferencing, the USB connection can be used to play back computer media or to record a meeting. There is a 3.5mm output for connecting external amplifiers and computer speakers. The Duet Executive also has an RJ-11 phone jack that enables a variety of features. The unit can bridge the USB and RJ-11 connections together for a 3-way call, making it easy to bring an audio-only user into a video call. There are multiple cables included that allow you to connect the RJ-11 port to analog, digital, and mobile phones, including those with Avaya, Nortel, and Cisco protocols. You can also daisy-chain multiple units for coverage of larger spaces. There are 2 different 2-position DIP switches that allow you to adjust the unit's send level to optimize the Executive for use with a variety of phone systems. Simply set the switches during the installation to your system and they should require no further changes.
