Who is Pierre Cardin?
Pierre Cardin is a world renowned French designer who shaped and changed the face of fashion. In 1950 he opened his own store in France. Pierre Cardin is also famous for making one of the first ready-made couture lines.
Today there is a dedicated museum in Paris, France to showcase his work throughout the years and his current atelier. He has worked with the Red Cross since World War II and was appointed a UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador in 1991.
