- Lathed to Perfection: Each wheel has been treated by the pros and Pinewood Pro. They’re lightly lathed, precision tuned, and ultra light for fast starts and full speed.
- Graphite Coating: The outside treads and hubs of these speed wheels for Pinewood Derby racing are perma-coated with graphite using a secret, proprietary process for consistent lubrication.
- Reduced Wobble: The hubs of each wheel have also been squared. This reduces the wobble that occurs when the wheel rubs against the derby car body while speeding down the track.
- Reduced Weight: Pinewood Pro’s special lathing process leaves these wheels 0.5 grams lighter than their original condition, while still keeping all official markings intact.
