Pinewood Derby Axles, machined, polished and nickel plated PRO axles with 2 grooves and bent 2.5 degrees. Bent axles require fine-tuning adjustment, so this product includes our "Easy Turn" Screw Driver slot in the axle head to easily turn them with a screw driver. These axles are made from Pinewood Pro's Grooved Super Speed Axles.

Axles are machined and not from the BSA Cub Scout Kit so most Cub Scout rules do not allow these axles....check your rules! Cub Scouts should use Pinewood Pro's BSA bent polished axles.

These axles are typically used to adjust the cant of the rear axles on your pinewood derby car so your rear wheels migrate towards the nail head rather than the car body. This technique reduces friction. They can also be used to create a rail rider car. We recommend Pinewood Pro's 1.5 degree bent steering axle to steer the front wheels.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

1. Package contains a two(2) bent axles.
2. THE 2.5 DEGREE BEND IS A VERY SLIGHT BEND THAT IS DIFFICULT TO SEE WITH THE NAKED EYE. However, if you roll the bent axle on a flat surface, you will see that it does not roll smoothly compared to an unbent axle.
3. Each axle is individually packaged so it is not scratched in shipping
