Note that this is a much more dense material than Plastazote LD45! Plastazote® is a closed cell cross-linked polyethylene foam. A wide range of polymer combinations is available to give increased stiffness, improved temperature resistance and improved mouldability. Applications include footwear inserts, packaging, protective padding in contact sports, automotive, health care and building. The inert qualities of Plastazote® have led to its widespread use in healthcare applications, such as orthotics and AFO interfaces.
