Pomo Indians of California and Their Neighbors

-- and Their Neighbors, is by Vinson Brown, with illustrations by Douglas Andrews. A 17 x 22 color map shows the old trails and tribelet villages with their Pomo names. Months were spent going to the way-back rancherias learning from the old people what the villages had been called. The Pomo once occupied a large part of northern California living in this beautiful area for hundreds of years without spoiling it.
