Menthol crystals are essential oil extracts of the Mentha Arvensis plant. They are used in a wide variety of consumer and industrial products such as cosmetics, toothpastes, mouthwashes, hair and skin products. Often used in the soap making industry. Menthol crystals are soluble in oil when heated. They are soluble in alcohol as well. Small but powerful, menthol crystals are highly concentrated. Caution should be used when adding them to your formulations.

Our premium menthol crystals are tested for purity, and are the highest quality menthol crystals available. Experimenting with small amounts first is highly recommended. Keep away from children and pets. Store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight.

Menthol crystals have a low melting point. They may melt in transit, especially during warmer months. Chill crystals in a freezer for a few hours. Then, break up the crystals by smashing them with a heavy object before use.

Comes in a sealed 2 ounce foil package. This package is sold by weight, not volume. Some settling may occur during shipment.
