Prime Wire & Cable PHC42W06 Water Pipe Freeze Protection
- 6 ft. Black water pipe heating cable, 42 watt
- Stops metal and plastic pipes from freezing down to -40°f/-40°c
- Built-in thermostat automatically turns on at 40°f/4°c
- Materials required (not included) aluminum foil (recommended for plastic pipe); fiberglass Plumbing pipe insulation; fiberglass tape or similar with temperature rating 80 degrees C/175F or higher
Water pipe freeze protection heating cable. Stops metal and plastic pipes from freezing. Includes built in thermostat that automatically turns on at forty degrees F/four degrees c, two foot 18/3 SJTW orange power Supply cord. This cable comes in standard six-foot increments (up to thirty feet), so you will need to know two key dimensions to select the right product: the length of the pipe run, including valves, to be heated and the diameter of the pipe.
