- Fits single hung and double hung vertical sliding windows
- These locks mount on the check (or “meeting”) rails of single and double hung sash where their checkrails rest flush when closed
- Replacing loose-fitting, worn or missing sash locks can help restore and increase the safety and security of the home or office
- Features cam-type locking mechanism designed to grab and pull the keeper and meeting rails firmly together, providing tighter seals and increased security
- The lock body has mounting holes that are spaced apart at 2-1/16 inch, on center
This sash lock is constructed of diecast and comes finished in a white, baked-on enamel finish. It features lock alignment guides with 2-1/16 in. mounting hole centers on the cam-action latch, and 1 in. mounting hole centers on the keeper. This sash lock is used on single and double hung windows constructed of vinyl, it is simple to install and it’s used by many window manufacturers. Installation fasteners are included.
